COOPERSHILL ESTATE IN CO. SLIGO, IRELAND

Coopershill is an historic family home set in over 500 acres of farmland and woodland in a tranquil location that allows you to experience the relaxed pace of life in heart of Co Sligo.

The estate is a haven for birds and wildlife and the fallow deer reared here are a special favourite with our guests. If you simply wish to get away from it all, unwind and do as little as possible, then the comfortable and welcoming interiors at Coopershill offer the perfect respite. You can wander through the grounds and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding woodland before returning to the house to read a good book in front of a blazing open fire.

The on-site facilities at Coopershill Country Inn include:

All-weather Tennis Court

Croquet Lawn

Three-quarter size Snooker Table

Woodland walks

Trout fishing on the River Arrow

Glorious Beaches, fine megalithic tombs as well as the spectacular mountains and lakes of Yeats country are nearby. Lissadell House where Yeats spent a lot of time, King House in Boyle and Strokestown House & Famine Museum are all within 45 minutes drive.

Cooperhill Estate is a 2.5 hour drive from Shannon, a 2 hour drive from Dublin, and a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. A train runs from Dublin to Sligo six times a day. Taxis can be arranged for day trips, but it is better to have one's own transport.
