A stunning mile long avenue crossing the River Unshin and winding through ancient woods and deer pastures brings you to this fabulous Georgian mansion, home to the O’Hara family for 250 years.   Food sourced from our own farm and gardens, original antiques, spacious bedrooms and views from every window make it a place to return again and again.

It’s the perfect base for the adventure of the Sligo landscape.  Kayak to the Lake Isle of Inishfree, take a Hawk Walk on the estate, horse ride on the beach or Climb Ben Bulben and savour a Coopershill picnic at the top.

Coopershill Country House in Sligo, is a member of Ireland's Blue Book and is available all year for private rental and special events such as filming.

Coopershill and COVID-19

Due to Government COVID-19 travel restrictions Coopershill will be closed to the public until it is viable to re-open.  Our best guess at present is May or June 2021.  If you are unable to travel because of Irish Goverment restrictions we will of course reschedule your visit or you can cancel free of charge.  Check online for availability or feel free to give us a call.

In this closed period we will be working on the house, gardens and trails to make it even better when you are able to come and stay with us!

We are taking online bookings and have gift vouchers for something special to look forward to.   Stay safe!
