TRADITIONAL HOSPITALITY
The O'Hara's have been welcoming visitors to Sligo since the 5th century and continue in that tradition today. Coopershill remains a family home and guests tend to feel like they are visiting old friends who just happen to have an estate in the country!
The O'Hara's are invariably there to welcome you personally and settle you in with a cup of tea and freshly baked scones in front of the open log fire in the Drawing room. The staff are mostly local ladies equally eager to tell you about the must see sights in the area or fill you in on the local gossip.
The house is filled with exquisite original Georgian antique furniture that has never been anywhere else. The food is delicious and the peace and quiet total. Be careful, Coopershill is highly addictive!
