Guests at Coopershill can enjoy peaceful walking or cycling holidays amidst tranquil countryside and quiet country lanes. The glorious ever changing scenery attracts walkers and cyclists with roads that are relatively traffic free, particularly the smaller country roads, where easy access can be gained to open countryside, moors and mountains. The Ox, Curlew and Bricklieve Mountains together with the Gleniff Horseshoe offer ideal walking and cycling country.

For those on a walking holiday, some of the more popular walks are clearly signed, particularly in Yeats' Country, and we have walking guide books with marked walking routes for the more adventurous. Good walking boots and waterproof clothing are essential. For those on a cycling holiday we can, with prior notice, arrange cycle hire from a local 'hire' company. Cycling routes are also clearly marked and we can advise on the best choice of routes.

Flanagans Cycles have a unique way to assist visiting cyclists. It has become very difficult to hire bikes, because of the high cost of insurance so Flanagans Cycles sell bicycles to the visiting cyclists and buy them back upon their return.
