There are five 18 hole seaside links golf courses within an hour of Coopershill, County Sligo, Ireland, two of which regularly host national tournamentsl. All are situated in outstanding scenic locations in both County Sligo and neighbouring County Donegal. Holiday vistors are made most welcome. Coopershiil is an idylic spot to base yourself whilst enjoying these challenging courses.
County Sligo Golf Club, better known by its location at Rosses Point, is a championship course a few miles north & west of Sligo town, and a half hour's drive from Coopershill.

Enniscrone Golf Club - The West of Ireland Amateur Championship has been played at Enniscrone Golf Club in recent years, and is 45 minutes drive down the coast road towards Ballina.

The County Donegal Golf Club at Murvagh, near Donegal town, is a highly acclaimed course, much enjoyed by our visiting golfers. It is about an hour's drive from Coopershill.

Bundoran Golf Club, on the way to Donegal is the 18 hole course at Bundoran Golf Club, situated beside the Atlantic cliffs and is 40 minutes away.

For anyone spending a golfing hotel break at Coopershill, sets of golf clubs can be hired, but in this case handicap certificates from home clubs may be required. For golfers whose golfing skills are such that an 18 golf hole course may appear daunting, we have two 9 hole golf courses nearby that welcome holiday visitors. These are at Ballymote (6 miles) and Tobercurry (13 miles).
